Cosmic Child return with their sophomore tape. Expanding upon the sound of their previous dream pop recording, the band revels in new textures and tones while revealing themselves to be no slouches when it comes to melody and composition. The track “Blue/Green” is of special note; a discordant guitar cascades into a fuzzily dreamy chorus not far removed from the wistfulness of The Depreciation Guild. Not to be missed by any searching for the next big thing from Singapore’s emerging shoegaze scene.
